You know you're addicted to letterboxing when...

This "You know you're addicted to letterboxing when..." thread is
great...but it's time for me to come out of lurking in the shadows
and throw down the gauntlet. I knew I was addicted to letterboxing
when...

...I proposed to Hezziwig, my future wife, by hiding a letterbox with
a proposal in it...

...wrote up fake clues using an anagram of my own name...

...carved a real stamp to stick in the box, along with a logbook and
a personal stamp for the fake placer...

...and then decided to carve ANOTHER stamp as a "hitchhiker" to put
with the proposal itself because I had a little extra carving
material around.

But then, as has been pointed out before, I'm not a particularly well-
balanced person.

P.S. I also placed a limited-time two-box series in honor of our
upcoming wedding ("Going to the Chapel" in Mansfield Center, CT),
which leads me to another question: how many series are exist that
were placed in honor of a couple's wedding or engagement? I know of
two others in New England, but I'm guessing there are more than that
out there...

You know this is a great idea!! I may plant one for my anniversary and then give the task to my husband for the next time he just wants to say "I love you"!!
